I had one of those 'good news bad news' messages from Danny Hooper yesterday. He said ' Sister, the Volunteer Coordinator from Alberta Health Services called me today about you!' I was obviously thrilled as I'm anxious to start volunteering at one of our local hospitals. I listed Danny as one of my three references because God only knows, he certainly knows everything about me. We've not only worked together, we are 'besties'. That being said, I should have known better.

His message went onto say 'the fact that she contacted me is the good news. The bad news is that after everything I told her, you won't be getting a volunteer position anytime soon......'

He added 'the better news though, is that you'll be able to run more errands for me when I'm out of town AND you'll finally be able to focus on all of our joint projects'.

By joint projects, Danny is referring to ideas he has where 'I' do all the work and 'we' both reap the benefits.

I've said it time and time again. He is a......gem.
