I'm officially a best-selling author!

Please pardon any typing mistakes today, as I'm writing through tears.

TEARS OF JOY!!!!!!!

As I turned in last night, I decided that I would blog about something other than my book today. I didn't want to bore you or give you book fatigue. My plan changed this morning while reading the Edmonton Journal. I just happened to glance over the Best Sellers List on page C9. At the time I was wondering what it must feel like to actually appear on such a list. I NEARLY SPIT OUT MY COFFEE WHEN I SAW MY NAME AND MY BOOK!!!!!

At this very moment, I do not have the right words to express what I'm feeling right now. Perhaps 'shock and awe'????

The book is listed under Fiction. Not sure why. I'll find out, once I quit weeping and jumping about like a school girl.

Oh, and I heard back from the Westside Chapters yesterday. You'll recall I dropped books off there on Wednesday. Well, they've nearly run out and so they've asked me to deliver more books today.

Please note that while I'm obviously thrilled with the success of my little project, I have no doubt that part of the reason it's resonating with readers, is adultery is so prevalent in our society. That's hardly a good thing. It's horrible. It's sad. It's so very cruel.

I take great comfort these days in knowing that my decision to proceed with the book was the right one. It took only two weeks to write the book. It took 'months' however, to decide whether or not to publish it.

How on earth am I supposed to get anything done today????
