Goin' to Drayton Valley!

At least, I think I am! Right now, it's foggy here in the capital city. I'll check before I head out at noon today, and if I'm uncomfortable with the weather conditions, I'll ask the Municipal Library if I can rebook.

I promised myself a couple of years ago, I'd NEVER white knuckle it again on our highways and byways. This after driving for YEARS, from Edmonton to Camrose, and then from Pigeon Lake to Edmonton for my job.

My printer called yesterday to say my newest printing of 'The Gift of Adultery' is ready! It means I can deliver books to both the Coles bookstore at Southgate, (where I'll be doing a signing February 20th) and to the Indigo at South Edmonton Common.

Other than book work, all in my little corner of the world is good.

Oh, rest assured I'm 'outraged' over what the Montreal Mayor's said yesterday about the Energy East Pipeline. I'm also annoyed at what the Prime Minister said about Stephen Harper this week in Davos, and I won't even write the words I'd like to use that would illustrate how I feel about Sarah Palin endorsing Donald Trump. (they're.....bad words)

Years ago, I thought that I might someday run for political office. I will tell you, I think about that more and more these days.
