Goin' to Heisler!

Good Saturday morning! I'll be up at the crack of 9 tomorrow for my adventure to Heisler. Looks like it'll be another terrific day for a drive in the country.

I'm truly so very fortunate to have been, and continue to be invited to so many communities in Alberta. I'm not only invited, I'm welcome and treated like gold when I arrive. Thank you to each and every one of you who has helped me in my journey of healing and recovery. You can't possibly imaginewhat your support and kindness have meant.

I had a girlfriend over for dinner last night. We had a fabulous visit. I pretty much admire everything about Edna Mcfetridge. She currently has some mobility issues, HOWEVER she never lets them stop her. She loves life. She has more friends than anyone I've ever met, she has all kinds of interests and she makes the most of everyday.

The last time she was over for dinner was in January. I was a mess and I mean a MESS. I was so distraught, I had arranged for a Skype session with my therapist who was in Mexico at the time. As a result, our dinner was cut short that evening. Edna and I talked about that last night. It reminded me of just how far I've come in the last year.

Okay, the most pressing issue of the day? My new Roomba! Yes, I will be giving you a Roomba review once I use it a couple more times. Right now, he still feels like a.......house guest.
