No alligator sightings

Just arrived at Prejeans; a Cajun restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana. We've eaten VERY well here down south----in fact, too well! There's Cajun music in the background and a massive alligator on display when you walk in. This is a little different than Edmt on a Saturday night! I'm having crawfish this evening and Acadiana Bread Pudding with Jack Daniels Sauce. Oh, no alligator sightings today. Our guide said that if we dipped our feet in the water, we might attract them. Suffices to say, there were NO takers.
