Off to New Orleans!

Good Saturday evening!

After a hectic day of errands, I'm happily relaxing at home with the fireplace on and a quiche in the oven.

I will try to get to bed early tonight because of my 3:45 a.m. wake up call. No, I'm not returning to work. I'm heading out early tomorrow with Tiffany Dowhan, Karen Maluta and 45 travellers for a 10 day adventure to New Orleans. It was last year at this time that Tiffany, Karen and I led a trip to Texas. We had such a marvellous time, we knew we'd want to team up again.

I'm not sure I ever laugh as much as I do on these adventures. These excursions are non-stop fun. Karen always organizes them in such a way that there's plenty of together time, a little downtime, and unique sights.

Perhaps the 'least' unique sight my travel mates will see will be the expression on my face on days where we........start early.

After decades of getting up at 3 a.m., I am a.......sleeper. I LOATHE getting up early. It is my fervent hope, actually my 'fantasy' that our remarkable travel agent one day organizes a holiday that starts in the AFTERNOON ONLY!

I'll be sending you pictures and stories of our adventures. Oh, and 'no'......I won't be lifting up my shirt in New Orleans in order to collect beads. The only beads this girl travels with.......is her rosary beads.
