A higher power

Brand new day and a brand new month!

Happy October! Up at the crack of 8 today so that I can get my work out in BEFORE MY BIG ADVENTURE!

'Book signing' at Audrey's Books today between 11:45 and 1:15. Who gets to do that??? Well obviously many accomplished authors have sat at that table before, but me???? I'm just a very ordinary person who decided to document my pain in the belief it would help others going through the same nightmare. Do I believe in a higher power! Absolutely!!! Otherwise, how would someone like me ever be where I am today?????

Received one of the best compliments yet on my book while chatting with a man yesterday. His wife cheated on him a year ago. Anyway, he said that when he began reading 'The Gift of Adultery' he started to cry. He couldn't stand seeing in words, what he himself had experienced. What did he do? He read the book backwards!!!! He said it was the only way he could get through it!

What thrills me is that it means I managed to capture the 'pain', to describe how I was literally gutted by what happened. That was then. Today, I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I've got a book signing today. I LOVE the month of October, and I finished my speech last night. It's so different than when I first began talking about what happened.
