I do believe in miracles
Happy Monday!
It's 'speech writing day' here at the compound. (that's what I call my new abode😜)
I will be a keynote speaker at 4 events in October. I'm BEYOND EXCITED! The first event is this Saturday, at the 4th Annual Women's Pavilion in the New Sarepta Agriplex. Tickets are $25, and there may still be some available. Call Lucille at 780-941-2382 if you're interested. Mercifully the organizers gave me the 'afternoon slot'.........as I'm convinced I do EVERYTHING BETTER IN THE AFTERNOON!
It's so interesting. The speech I'll be writing today is not the same one I would have given even 6 months ago. So much has changed. I'm in a much happier place. I don't have the gut wrenching debilitating pain I had a year ago. It's the tools I used to get me here that I'll be sharing. My speech will be one of hope, empowerment and laughter.
18 months ago to the day, I was forced to push a 'reset button'. Didn't want to. Didn't think I'd ever have to. Didn't think I could.
Today? I thank God everyday for my life.
If I can do it, anyone can.
Oh!!!!! Oh!!!!!! Oh!!!!! As if I don't have enough excitement in my life, Audrey's Books has invited me----ME for a book signing this Thursday between 11:45 and 1:15. A year ago, I couldn't stop crying enough to even read a book. Now I'll be signing books at one if the most prestigious book stores in the province!
Yes, I do believe in miracles.
Have a remarkable, and I mean remarkable Monday!
