The pain has passed
Good Saturday morning!
I'm back home now after the most fabulous road trip to Vermilion and St. Paul. I was overwhelmed in both locations that SO many people would take time out of their busy lives, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF HARVEST, to come see me!

What I love most about these signings is that I get to hear YOUR stories. Grief, of all kinds, is so extremely painful. It truly helps to share. It was by sharing my journey that I got to where I am today. People are ALWAYS, ALWAYS willing to help, to offer counsel, to provide understanding, to reassure you when you feel hopeless. It's why I beg anyone going through a difficult time to 'talk, to get help.' Please don't suffer in silence.
I'm grateful now that I wrote my book when I did. You see the pain that I so graphically describe has long since passed. I just don't feel like that today. I'm not broken. I'm surprisingly strong, and so I don't think I could have captured what it was really like if I was writing 'The Gift of Adultery' today.
Oh, and wasn't I lifted yesterday when I learned my book is back on Edmonton's Best Seller list????? This is nothing short of remarkable. The only advertising I've had is through social media, word of mouth and YOU.
Thank you. Your support, encouragement and kindness are literally helping me rebuild my life; 'MY LIFE-----not just my book project, but MY LIFE.'
