Wonderfully fabulous
As I turned in last night, I decided that 'yesterday' was sponsored by the letter F. 'F as in......FABULOUS!'
It started with an e-mail from the Chapter's in Sherwood Park asking me to bring in more books!!!! When I arrived, I handed them off to a lady who asked if I needed to see the store manager. I said 'goodness no, I don't want to bother him'. She said 'well, he wants to see you!' While we waited she said 'I guess this thing has gone viral or something. We get calls and e-mails about it every day.' My heart melted. It did. I am beyond amazed. It was only 3 weeks ago yesterday that I released 'The Gift of Adultery'. The manager came over, thanked me for bringing more books and I thanked him for 'taking a chance on me'.
When I got back home, there was an e-mail confirming my attendance at next year's CAMROSE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE! I'll be one of the speakers that day. This is a huge event, that sells out EVERY YEAR!!!
As if that wasn't enough excitement for the day, I still had the book reading/signing at the Newbrook Library thanks to Tracy Christensen Woloshyniuk. She invited me shortly after the book came out. What a fun night! There were plenty of laughs and GREAT questions from the crowd. One lady told us what she would have done if she had been betrayed. Unfortunately, I can't put it in print, but it was VERY FUNNY! Another woman asked me if there were any recipes in my book!!!! The library even had snacks for those in attendance. As I drive home, the sweet smell of fall wafted through my vehicle. I thought about how kind everyone was, how supportive, how loving.

The ugliness, horror, grief and sadness of last year is slowly but surely moving on. Could I have imagined it would be replaced by this much.....fun?
No, who----WHO among us could have predicted this?
Here's to the letter 'W', as in a 'wonderful' day for us all!
