Thank You Cohen's Corner
Good Wednesday morning Friends!!!!
Where do I begin??? I have so much to tell you! I may have to start blogging more than once a day to cover everything!
First off, THANK YOU! I was overwhelmed when I drove up to Cohen's Corner Bookstore, and saw people actually waiting for me. There were ladies from the Tiara Classic Golf Tournament that I emcee every year. People from CFCW trips I've taken to the Panama Canal, Texas and New York. A very, very dear cousin and his wife, Dave and Elizabeth Chomyc. One of my closest friends from Leduc, and her girlfriend. A brilliant retired teacher named Dorothy. The husband of a lady I worked with years ago. A woman who's husband bolted after 41 years of marriage! She and I spoke of trust, and how one regains it after such a betrayal. There were two woman who's husband's have passed away; both girls are doing remarkably well. I saw a myriad of friends I've met here on Facebook who expressed the kindest of sentiments and well wishes. There were radio listeners from my days on-air who remembered how lovingly I always spoke of my former husband before I learned he was an adulterer. One lady had tears in her eyes as she said she just couldn't 'believe' what had happened. Another woman told me how her sister's husband did the same thing, and how the ENTIRE family was affected. EVERYONE is when someone betrays a loved one.
I giggled when one lady whispered to me, 'this is my first book signing'. I whispered back....'mine too!'

I spoke with several really decent men. There was one young man, (a very attractive man) named Munro. 'Munro' was his Scottish mother's maiden name. He listened to me on radio for years, and yesterday he shared my sentiments on deceit.
Perhaps what was most engaging, was that I got to visit with 'friends'. I had quality discussions, with sincere like-minded people.
I even saw some reviews this morning from readers who have already read the book. THANK YOU.
In spite of how this project cam about, it is a labour of 'love'. As you know, I've self published which means I'm doing this all on my own. EVERYONE who has, or will purchase the book is helping me personally. EVERYONE who is promoting the book, people like Toby Mary Roach and Edin Viso are helping me personally.
How will I ever, ever, EVER thank you for that?
To say that I went to bed last night with a heart full of 'hope and love' is an understatement.
My next book signing? The Niton Junction Farmer's Market this Saturday between 1-3!!!
