Today is the Day!

Greetings, from the 'Author on Jasper Avenue!'

Finally! Today is the day I pick up a copy of my book from the printer. My project was delayed by a week because of my move. The copy I get today is the way the book will look when it comes out. Once I proof it, it goes for printing.

I expect to have it 'proofed' in the next couple of days.

The actual printing will only take two weeks!

Yesterday, I met with Leah Ison, the brilliant young woman who is designing my web page. Once my page is set up, I'll be posting my blogs there on a daily basis.

You'll be able to order the book directly from my web site. It will also be available from a book store called 'Cohen's Corner' on the south side of Edmonton, and at the CFCW studio at West Edmonton Mall.

I will obviously endeavour to get it in as many stores as possible, so that it's convenient to pick up.

Faye Spencer-Ison, who is of course Danny's assistant, along with her daughter Leah will be handling the mailings for me.

Am I excited? I'm well beyond that.
